Tim’s Week In Review
August 19, 2023
Happy Saturday!
This week was a busy one on the campaign trail. Tim was with Governor Kim Reynolds, Senator Joni Ernst, and Congressman Zach Nunn at the Iowa State Fair on Tuesday, where he sat down for a “Fair-Side Chat,” tossed the football around, met some cattle, and flipped some pork chops.
During this trip, he made clear to Iowa farmers exactly where he stands on issues important to them. It’s simple, as president, Tim will:
👉 Support the production of ethanol
👉 Stop China from buying our farmland
👉 Fight for fair trade to ensure our farmers have access to foreign markets.
Then on Friday morning, Tim was down in Atlanta, Georgia, where he joined Erick Erickson on stage at his annual The Gathering conference. The two discussed issues relating to the military, the economy, and government spending and how conservative ideas work for everyone.
As always, thank you for your support! Take a look at Tim’s week in review.

THINGS TO READ 📰
Here are our top articles from the week:
What We're Hearing
When Tim read through the replies to the emails our team sent this week, these were some of his favorites:
- Regina from Pennsylvania said, “My prayer is that God blesses you. Your love of God and our country is heartwarming. I would be proud to have you as my president.”
- Ronald from Maryland shared his Bible verse, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!”
- Whitney from Indiana said, “I completely agree: America needs more Victors than Victims.”
Tim Scott is the one candidate in this race with movement and momentum. His consistently conservative record, positive message, and ability to connect with voters everywhere is why the campaign is resonating. It’s clear he’s the one candidate that Democrats fear the most.
We’re ready for Wednesday. Let’s do this.
