Key Issues: Lowering Taxes

South Carolina government has increased by over 40% in the past three years. This is simply unacceptable. Government must be lead in the direction of placing taxpayers first. Government can no longer grow beyond the taxpayers’ ability to support it. Once in office, Tim Scott will reduce government spending to make way for tax decreases for those who need it the most like working families and our seniors.

Tim believes it is also time to change our out of date government bureaucracy by increasing efficiency through government restructuring. Tim will stand with Governor Sanford on his fight to streamline government while making it more responsive to the voters.
